Volunteering in Patagonia: Requirements for volunteering in Patagonia
To be a Patagonia volunteer you need to:
- Have or achieve an intermediate level of Spanish.
- Be at least 18 years old. There is no maximum age limit.
- Be able to commit to a volunteering placement for at least 4 weeks (some placements require a longer period).
- Have a strong commitment to community development and environment care.
- Be open-minded and tolerant.
- Be able to adapt to and respect the local culture.
- Pay your membership and volunteer placement organization fee of 250€.

How to pay the volunteer placement organization fee
Please make a wire transfer of 250 € to MAPU Association’s bank account. Do make sure that no bank administration costs are discounted from this amount.
